Main Menu

Usage

This command accepts secure command options. The value associated with the first satisfied condition will be interpreted as described below. If no conditions are satisfied, no action will be performed.

Arguments

InvSlot

The numeric slot on your character to equip the item to.

item

The name of the item to be equipped.

BagID slot

The bag the item is in (0 is backpack, etc...), and the bag slot number, starting at 1.

Hi guys, as discussed during the meeting, see below the macros I am currently using. They are all simple macros and all only need 1 push of a button. I might create a few more at 60 including mouse over and conditionals (meaning action done if a certain condition is in play) but I consider these to be part of the core ( taunt + startattack macros being the only ones really essential) and even if there are more fancy macros, I never really had need of them.
There are plenty of tutorials on the web which will explain it better than me and I encourage anyone who is not familiar with the Macro system to have a read in order to be able to create his own macros, fitting his particular playstyle.
But as an introduction, I would simply say to avoid using any scripts (which were what was used back in Vanilla and looks like developer's formulas) as we now are on the Legion macro structure, and you would most likely create bugs if you don't know exactly what you are doing.
The conditionals are all pretty simple since Legion and can be found online as well. This is a good start.
Lastly, Automation is good to a certain extent, and too many macros can simply prevent you from ever playing properly the class as you would unlearn the basics overtime (stance dancing, reflexes, quick decision making etc..).
Those macros are for all warriors and some more tank focussed, so Warriors, feel free to share macros you consider essentials and are not listed.
But please keep the same structure as this post in order to retain readability thus allowing easy copy-paste into the game

- you can also use equipslot conditionals but I find them less reliable than simply changing the name of your weapon everytime you get a new one, which is not that often.
- !!! For this to work, you need either an addon that creates one big bag, or to always have your weapon in your main bag. For the sake of certainty, please use a bag addon such as Bagnon. !!!!
- For Warrior DPS, you would not need to equip a 1H and a Shield really for most situation. For OT and Tanks, it makes sense
- Do not change the order if you don't know what you are doing, or you will create a GCD that will invalidate the macro)
